Thomson was established in 1986, we
have classified 'Quality Control' as a top priority over the past 32 years.
We have four basic principles in our company: 'Produce quality products to
satisfy our customers' - 'Provide a caring after-sales Service' - 'Establish
a Fair Pricing system' - 'Implement a Safe and Healthy Environment Policy.'
We have been improving our production capacity; efficiency and reducing
company over-heads. Our future promises to be exciting, filled with
long-term achievable goals and expectations. "Exceeding today's
Achievements; Challenging the Infinite Future!" is our determination, our
focus. In response to a fast growing business, and in conformance with World
Trends, we made a huge investment which commenced 2008. We spent Over
NT$200million to build a super modern three story steel structured factory;
the land area 2800sqmtrs; the built-on area 6000sqmtrs. We designed and
built our class: 10,000 - a 2000sqmtrs 'Clean-Room Facility' a class leading
structure which leads or surpasses any existing standard for our
industry...both nationally/internationally. In keeping with our 'Betterment'
program, and in-accordance with GMP code and regulations, we are progressing
with ISO 2200 and HACCP; we will have these accreditations soon. Thomson

Our success to-date is a matter of record; the future promises much more, we
accept the challenge of the 21st Century and our company will continue to
develop. We have initiated three (3) new R&D departments: Web Business
Group, specialising in International Business Developments - New Products
and Technology; creating and researching: - Disposal & Recyclable Materials;
Reducing Waste and recycling. Thomson Flexible Packaging Company will
continue to thrive...... Thomson was the first company in Taiwan to import
the computerised stand-up pouch converting were considered the most advanced
packaging (of its type) in the world at that time. They were able to
accommodate the 're-closeable ZIP' and offer a stand-up presentation. This
opened the door to 'Multi-use' packs, thus eliminating the need to transfer
to another container. Major Supermarkets soon adopted this evolutionary
packaging, it was here to stay.
In 1994 while working closely with a Japanese company, the combined efforts
yielded an 'Easy-Tear' technology, patent #40599. Our agreement afforded
sole usage to Thomson in Taiwan....the benefits flowed through to our
clients and in-turn the consumer; finally a means to open a secure product
without the need for scissors.
We purchased an additional stand-up pouch converting machine in 1995; this
machine was the most advanced machine in Japan...at that time.
In June 1997, we imported a 'BM-800' machine from Japan; this equipment was
capable of producing a variety of goods with a one-way valve automatically
inserted during the converting process. We have produced a wide range of
inflatable items; 'Cushioned Insulators' for transporting goods; 'Fresh
Flower Pouches' that can be posted - 'Cheer Sticks' they 'CRACK' like
fireworks - 'Neck Supports' for those long journey's - 'Comfort Cushions'
while watching Sport - Balloons for Promotional
events/Birthdays/Celebrations etc. From this beginning, Thomson has
developed multiple products and applications: Additives like: Water -
Nitrogen - Helium etc can be added e.g. 'Balloons' with Helium will 'FLY'...
Items can be re-used e.g. cushions with advertising promotions printed over
its panels, can be: inflated/deflated/re-inflated.
In August 1997, we bought the most advanced bag converting machine from
Japan; TOTANI'S FV-35V.
In 1999 we set-up our third (8) Colour Printing Line; plus a TOTANI'S
FD-350C advanced 'T' shape bag sealing/converting machine; along with a
'three sides seal' pouch converting machine BH600BL from Japan.
In 2000 we imported the largest 'Bag Converting' machine in Taiwan: this
gave us by far an advantage in: Width x Length, plus the best side-sealing
gusset bag converting machine; the TOTANI'S FD-60VL from Japan. This
continues to produce over-sized bags for Thomson's clients.
In 2003 we were the first company to import equipment from NISHIBE Company
(Japan) to produce a side -gusseted bag with ZIP. This pack offers 'High
Volume' using minimal packaging materials. The bags are Multi-use and
environment friendly.
In 2009 we purchased a flat bottom stand-up pouch converting machine from
Japan.
The advanced technologies, Patents know how and machines we own from past
years; with the new environment control, clean room factory and new website.
All of these have given us great confidence. Thomson GOING FORWARE is not a
target but already turn to true. We will provide even better quality
products and services. We sincerely welcome any commands and ideas to
improve ourself. Thank you! |
